In the week of June 18-22 Mr. Timoty Neuber, representative of the manufacturer of the NAC DYNAMICS of the Track Friction Measuring Machine, based in Miami, was in the country, to inspect and calibrate the Track coefficient of friction, and thus ensure that the track readings are correct.
Mr. Neubert spent 4 days where he also provided training to Interairports staff on the measurement and management techniques of the equipment.
With the assistance of Mr. Neubert, Interairports ensures that the track friction measurements of the 4 Honduran International Airports comply with the technical requirements contemplated in the actual legal regulations.
