Tegucigalpa January 11th. Aeropuertos de Honduras, concessionaire of the four international airports in the country, reports its quarterly payment transferred to the State, which corresponds to the fourth quarter of the year 2015, totaling the amount of nearly 63 million Lempiras.
From January to December Aeropuertos de Honduras has handed over to the State nearly 252 million Lempiras, corresponding to the four quarters of the year 2015.
With this payment, Aeropuertos de Honduras, adds almost 2 thousand 443 million Lempiras, paid to the State in concept of concession cannon since the year 2000 up to date, period during which the administration of the international airports of the country has given positive results toward the national economy.
Edgardo Maradiaga, Manager of Aeropuertos de Honduras, said that “the payment of the concession fee is a responsibility of the concessionaire with the State of Honduras, whose compliance in a timely manner is well seen because we contribute from the private sector towards the development of Honduras.
Aeropuertos de Honduras is a responsible company that works under strict supervision in its operations parameters Maradiaga added.
In to serve all passengers and to provide better services, we are contributing in the modernization and operational safety, with a major investment of more than $ 62 million dollars, developing the proper infrastructure for air navigation such as the expansion and maintenance of tracks. But also in the improvement of infrastructure in the terminals towards the attention of the passengers.
