Prize will be delivered in Indonesia in September

The Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport in San Pedro Sula wins the “Airport Service Quality 2018” award for the first time, as it is the best airport in Latin America and the Caribbean, in the category of less than 2 million passengers, as well as It was announced this day by Edgardo Maradiaga General Manager.
“The recognition will be granted by the Airports Council International (ACI) which is the association of non-profit airports worldwide that foments and promotes professional excellence in management and operations at airports,” explained Maradiaga.
ACI through its global program of service quality parameters comparison Airport Service Quality (ASQ) evaluates the satisfaction of passengers directly during their stay at the airport. In addition, it provides international measurement and comparison tools for the continuous improvement of the products and services offered at the airport and makes the comparison with more than 300 airports around the world.
The recognition of the Honduran airport will be granted in the framework of the ceremony of the second Global Summit organized by the ICA, which will be attended by more than 91 countries around the world.
